Now is usually the time where I would introduce my favourite things from the month of June. However, these things, these ‘materialistic’ things really don’t mean anything. I mean, they’re great and all, but in the big scheme of things they won’t matter. I already know that within a month there will be new favourites, new things.
So I thought for the month of June I would share my top favourite moments. These I have experienced, they have influenced my life and are definitely not material-based. They are moments shared with family and friends and I have learned from them.
- My birthday – This was a very fun night, shared with those I love. I was reminded of how lucky I am to have great family and friends to be able to share these cherished moments with.
- Showcase – Performing 3 concerts with some of my best friends was really so much fun. Rehearsals were hilarious, along with trying to keep quiet backstage! I learnt that many talented people surround me daily, reminding me that we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and that ok, because we’re only human.
- The day I passed my exam – The final weeks of June were very busy! I had two exams for my Japanese in which I tried my best to study for… and it worked! I was super ecstatic when I found out that not only did I pass but I had ranked first for both exams! This experience reminded me that a little hard work never goes unrewarded.
- First day of holidays – Yay! This was by far one of the best days of June! That day, I literally stayed in my pajamas all day long! It was amazing to say the least. No work, no chores just wonderful Netflix and my cat! But seriously, that day revealed how relaxing rest days are for the soul. They allow time for your brain to catch up with your body so you become one with yourself again!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my post, it was fun reminiscing! We need more of that I think. To just stop and acknowledge what is happening and what is passing us by. Make the most of July!
Enjoy the sunshine x
